Review of The Secret Detective's Movie (All the devil’s men)

The last week of March is a fierce race between six films in Vietnamese theaters. So many choices with everything from comedy, horror, history to action, which one will be your theatrical choice this week? The Cinema Angle reviews one of them in the review of All the Devil's Men before making a decision to enjoy the Fmovies.

The purge agent marks the return of star William Fichtner, the legendary actor in the action film series, once known in films like Black Hawk Down, Heat, Armageddon and the Prison Break television series. The film was written and directed by Matthew Hope - who specializes in producing low-budget action films and is quite strange to Vietnamese audiences.

All the devil’s men is a story about the underworld of spies and secret agents hidden in big organizations. The film follows Collins (played by Milo, the son of Mel Gibson) - a former member of the US Navy SEALS, with excellent combat experience and skills. After his demobilization, Collins worked for a government agency to monitor and stop the terrorists.

During this mission, Collins was ordered to kill Terry McKnight - a traitor in the secret service force that caused much damage to the US military. Within 12 hours, he and his teammates must complete the task before it's too late.

The Secret Service is a low-quality, low-budget action movie. If compared with the TV series about the police, it may be a bit better, but in terms of a movie, the quality is quite poor. Most of the film content is fight scenes, shooting and forced pursuit, lacking in logic.

The film is entertaining and suitable for those who like the genre of gunfight and chase thrilling because that is all that makes the film most impressive for the audience. However, with a sloppy investment in action scenes, these segments are not very attractive either. Apart from those scenes, the film is filled with cliché, illogical gruesome, and stereotypical happenings of the B-genre action movie. It can be cited as the construction of bad guys who are Russian , the Russians seem to have become the enemy forever in this genre. Or like the scene of hacking virtual computers, or breaking into a house as easily as a hand ...

Purge also has a plot plot plot twist, but the ending is quite predictable because much of it was exposed in the previous film. This can be considered an attempt to save the movie content but the failure of director Matthew Hope.

William Fichtner was familiar with the audience in many famous movies. With experience and talent available, he easily completed the role of agent Brennan, a companion of Collins. This role has many similarities with the image of Agent Mahone also played by William himself in Prison Break. My question is why would a veteran actor like William choose to participate in such a poor quality film?

All the devil’s men review is a disappointing action film, both lacking in depth in the story and lacking in logic, drama in action. The film is only suitable if you like the action genre of shooting, exploding or you have watched all the remaining movies coming out this week and still want to watch more. All the devil’s men are probably the brightest candidates for the Golden Raspberry Award (Award for the worst film, often taking place before the Oscars) this year.
